Originally from Duluth, Minnesota, Audrie Pelosi had become a beloved figure in Baraboo since relocating there after her marriage in 2023. Known affectionately as a “Baraboo Celebrity,” she was admired for her lively personality, deep love of nature, and unwavering dedication to her passions and community.

Friends of Devil’s Lake State Park posted a heartfelt tribute on Facebook, expressing their shock and sadness over Pelosi’s passing. The post read, “We are shocked and saddened, and we are sending our deepest condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, neighbors, and climbing community.” The outpouring of grief underscores the impact she had on those around her, inspiring many through her zest for life and her unwavering spirit.
